He said kilroy stoneskin in SF (sorrow's furnace), which is a party quest. The same guy is in EOTN and gives the solo quest you're thinking about.

yup... u r wrong . heroes do get the experience from quest reward if they are in your party when u accept it.

I just took them with me while doing quests and missions, I had no problems at all in leveling them :s

Just do quests and have the heroes in party when u get reward. There are plenty of ezy quests, especially in factions.
